lyrics

All my friends are dead.
Violent visions in my head.
No way to warn my species about the coming dread.
With the image of six eyes burned into my brain,
the frozen, empty void was my only means of escape.

(You cannot escape from me!
Many before have tried to flee.
Come join the amalgamate.
Let this ship be the vessel for transcendence.
Only two options I see.
I live to gather bodies.
Go ahead, suffocate in space
or take the easy way, come to me
Now!)

Floating here, I collect my thoughts,
observing the planet of which I once walked.
I am not aimed towards its gravity
and my line leads back to the cavity
of the beast that awaits.

The glare of the sun resolves into vast discharge of weaponry.

The first strike has been made, surprisingly by humanity.
The hull of my ship descends into darkness. As for him...
He resides unscathed!?
Now my line is cut and the resulting torque has thrust
--Me back in a geosynchronous state, to further await my destiny,
with adrenaline peaked and my oxygen critically low.

[Laughter]
(You have brought your kind to my eternal flame.
Don't they know I feed on pure energy?
Remember me. I, the Primordial.
I can already see, they've acknowledged
triumphancy. I will remain.)

(With me, there exists no fail safe protocol.
You think your ship is gone? No, I threw it
into orbit and oh, it shall return!
Pitiful humans, the least you could do is challenge me.)

(Solo - Derek Ryan)

All my friends are dead.
Violent visions in my head.
Space vacuum asphixiation.
With the image of six eyes burned into my brain,
I can hardly see, but I think my ship is returning!?

Oh my God, it's coming in too fast!
